  • Turning
Tux Rider World Challenge uses the iPhone's accelerometers to control Tux (the penguin). So to turn right or left, you just have to inclinate your iPhone. You must notice that the speeder you are, the more difficult it is to turn.

  • Hard turning
If you want to turn harder, touch the Area 1 while turning. It will slow Tux a bit but your turn will be much more efficient.

  • Paddling/Flapping
Touching the Area 2 while racing makes Tux paddle when he is on the ground or flap his wings if he is in the air. This is what you have to do to gain speed or to fly a bit longer. But as soon as the speedometer enter the yellow area, paddling will slow Tux down insead of increasing his speed.

  • Jumping
Touching the Area 3 while racing will not make Tux jump but it will makes him to start to accumulate energy wich is needed to jump. You can see the energy being accumulated inside the speedometer. When you release the Area 3 all the energy accumulated is released and make Tux jump.

  • Making tricks
Shaking your iPhone while Tux is flying will make him doing some fun tricks. Inclining the iphone or touching the differents Areas will vary the tricks. Those tricks dont give you any points, except in the Half-Pipe mode.

  • Pausing
Just do a double Tap anywhere on the screen to pause.

  • Aborting
Drag your finger from Area 1 to Area 3 to abort the race and go back to the Race Select menu.
